JEF scholarship due 1/7/13

The Japanese American Bar Association Educational Foundation (JEF), located in Los Angeles, is pleased to offer four scholarships of $2,000 each.  Law school students at any accredited law school are encouraged to apply.  The deadline to apply is January 7, 2013.  Submissions in PDF are encouraged.  The application and instructions will be available at www.jabaonline.org/scholarships in the near future.

Alumni Scholarship Awards - due 11/5 4pm

Five scholarships of $4,000 each will be awarded.  The deadline to submit your application is Monday, November 5, 2012 by 4 p.m.  Late applications will not be accepted.  Here are the details below. 
·         What – (5) Five $4,000 Alumni Scholarships will be awarded.
·         Deadline to apply – Monday, November 5, 2012 by 4 p.m.  Late applications will not be accepted.

·         Criteria to apply - (1) record of participation in SW Law activities, (2) record of participation in community events (3) good academic standing, and (4) financial need, as determined by financial aid office **must be a continuing student – 1L’s not eligible and past recipients not eligible**
