JEF scholarship due 1/7/13

The Japanese American Bar Association Educational Foundation (JEF), located in Los Angeles, is pleased to offer four scholarships of $2,000 each.  Law school students at any accredited law school are encouraged to apply.  The deadline to apply is January 7, 2013.  Submissions in PDF are encouraged.  The application and instructions will be available at www.jabaonline.org/scholarships in the near future.

PABA Career Night @ O’Melveny & Myers 11/7/12

PABA hosts its Annual Career Night on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, 6:30 p.m. at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, 400 South Hope St., Los Angeles, CA 90071.

Come hear the diverse perspectives of our distinguished panelists as they share their experiences practicing law from the private sector to public sector, from big firm to solo practitioner, and from new graduate to veteran lawyers.  Light refreshments and food will be provided.  Parking validation included.

The Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Los Angeles County (APABA) and its co-sponsoring bars invite students and attorneys to the largest student-attorney event of the year, the 6th Annual Law Student Welcome Mixer! 

Come meet new students and attorneys and re-connect with old friends.  APABA and its bar affiliates will introduce themselves to students.  Learn about opportunities to get involved this school year.  Admission is $10 at the door, and delicious dim sum appetizers will be provided!
